Sydney Reese | LMHC
Sydney is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), who provides compassionate, individualized therapy to teens and adults in person and virtually throughout Florida. I believe that everyone deserves a supportive ally while navigating life’s challenges, and I am honored to walk alongside you as we explore your experiences, develop meaningful skills, and move toward the life you hope to build.
With deep dedication to healing in the present while laying the foundation for a brighter future, my approach integrates evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities tailored to each person’s unique needs. I specialize in supporting people with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, stress, trauma, and life transitions, and I work with diverse populations including LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent individuals, and mental health professionals.
I use a range of therapeutic methods including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-focused approaches to help clients develop insight, build resilience, and strengthen emotional well-being. I am currently pursuing certification as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
When not in session, I enjoy traveling, time on the water, and spending time with my pets; all nurturing the balance, joy, and fulfillment I bring into our work together.
