Fabienne Valsien | MSW

As compassionate and dedicated clinician with a Master of Social Work degree from Barry University, I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life's challenges while creating a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where they feel heard, understood, valued, and supported.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, validation, acceptance, and genuine human connection. I incorporate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed techniques, play therapy, and trauma-informed care to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, and life transitions.

I believe that healing begins when individuals feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. My goal is to empower my clients to recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

As a Bilingual clinician who speaks English, and Haitian Creole, I value cultural sensitivity and strive to ensure that every client feels respected and understood. Above all, I am committed to walking alongside my clients on their journey toward emotional wellness, personal growth, and healing.
